THE SHIP is a recording studio, composer team and music house for film, television and commercials, a record label, and a live series.
The studio is located in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood on the east side of Los Angeles, founded in 2000, and owned and operated by songwriter/producer Aaron Espinoza of the band Earlimart. In addition to being home base for Earlimart, The Ship has been a host to a very long and diverse list of artists including: Ben Gibbard, She and Him, FIDLAR, Admiral Radley, Flosstradamus, Silver Sun Pickups, Dead Man's Bones, The Breeders, The Submarines, Summer Blonde, Henry Clay People, Nico Stai, and many more.
The Ship composers have provided original score and also licensed music to a vast client list including: Toyota, Pacifico, Oxfam, Charter, US Tennis Association for US Open, Magnolia Pictures, Private Practice, ER, One Tree Hill, Ugly Betty, and many many more.
